My Son Has More Emotional Stability and Can Focus
My son started taking Quillichew-ER for ADHD. He is 9 years old. We tried a different medication first, but we werent at all happy with it. That medication helped improve his mood but his ability to concentrate didnt improve at all. Also, when the late afternoon hit, he seemed to have zero benefits from that medication. Quillichew-ER has been so much better. He is able to focus on tasks. His mood is stable with no more weepiness and outbursts of frustration and anger. He is calm and able to engage in conversation and listening. I would strongly recommend this medication for ADHD if you havent tried any medications or youre not totally happy with the one being used now. He has not had any noticeable side effects. His behavior at school also improved. His grades are getting better. I thought for sure that his problems in school were related to the ADHD, but we had no solid proof until now. I hope it continues to help him concentrate and be able to get things done without distractions and frustration he has difficulty verbalizing. He is able to sleep well and get up without a struggle.
