I Would Be Lost Without Marplan
My depression did not get any better from the other types of antidepressants that I tried. For years, doctors tried different combinations of antidepressant drugs without much effect. When I went on the first MAOI antidepressant that I tried, I had some relief from the depressing thoughts and mental confusion, but it did not remove all my symptoms. The doctor decided to try Marplan, which is also a MAOI antidepressant. I felt so much better with this medication. It is like I don’t have depression. I can think clearly and I don’t have the anxiety that I always had. I know it can be difficult to find the right drug for depression since it is all trial and error. I wish we had tried this medication sooner.

Very Good Results
I think doctors resort to MAOI antidepressants as a last resort since they require a special diet. I don’t see why they wait so long. I tried numerous other medications. None of them did any good. Marplan has been wonderful. The special diet is not as bad as people think. It’s a healthy diet with just avoiding certain foods. I have not had any side effects at all. I would strongly recommend Marplan to anyone who is not satisfied with their current antidepressant medication.
