Effective So Far
I am taking Zykadia for non-small cell lung cancer. The doctor says the medication is working as expected. This medication was difficult for me to take at first. I was getting sick and vomiting a few hours after taking it. However, the doctor adjusted my dose, and this has eliminated the nausea side effect. I am hoping it works for a long time. I was on other medications before that had to be replaced after they stopped working for me. Others have said the same happened with their cancer medications. I wish we could get used to taking one medication and it would always work, but I guess thats wishful thinking.

Lower Dose Works Great
The doctor gave me Zykadia to treat cancer in my lungs. Everything was going well until I started having times when I was so tired that I didnt want to move. The doctor said we could try a slightly lower dose to see if the fatigue goes away. The lower dose reduced the fatigue a lot. So far, it is still effective. I will have to wait and see if the lower dose continues to work well. As long as its working, I will keep taking this dose. If it stops working, I guess we will have to look for a different medication that wont cause such fatigue.
