Oxycontin Really Helps With The Pain
I was in a car accident about a year ago and the pain was absolutely unbearable. I took several other pain relieving medications, but they never seemed to work. I couldnt sleep or even stand for large periods of time. Forget sleeping. I would just be awake at night writhing in pain and agony. I was slipping further and further into depression and just did not know what to do. I went to my doctor and demanded that he give me something stronger. Thats when he described oxycontin.
I had heard some really negative things about oxycontin so at first, I was really hesitant to take it. However, he said he would closely monitor me an never give me more than I needed so I agreed to take them. Boy its a huge relief! I usually take one every 12 hours and it helps with the pain dramatically. I take one at night before bed because it helps me relax and sleep a lot. This was something I could never do before. I take no more than 40 mg at a time and I dont feel drowsy all day.

I could not get my prescription filled by my pharmacist, took it to different places they still said they did not have generic. Took to Wal-Mart and they held my script because they said their supply would be there in 7 days, which was better than the rest. When that day came they said it did not come in and would have to back order. My husband paid for the brand name and we do not have that kind of money but he did because I needed it. I don’t know what to do to get the generic drug it is getting almost impossible. I have taken this med for many years and am disabled and have not been able to work since 2009. Don’t know what to do, could you help in anyway or tell me what I could do. He can not work either, we make only SS and it is not much at all. Please help in any way you can. Thank you so much.
