Alternative to Surgery and Chemo
Due to other health problems, I was not able to get surgery to remove some skin cancer. My doctor recommended Erivedge. At my follow-up appointment, the doctor was amazed at how well the Erivedge was working. I had some side effects including a loss of taste unless the food is spicy, but I would tolerate that any day in order to have the cancer be controlled by a pill. I continued to take Erivedge for two months after the follow-up appointment. The skin cancer was greatly reduced. Then, I had laser treatment to the affected area. Erivedge has to be the easiest cancer treatment there is.

Erivedge Can Reduce the Need for Disfiguring Surgeries
I had four surgeries on my face to remove basal cell carcinoma. Luckily, I had a good doctor who was able to do it with minimal tissue loss and hiding the most of the scars. However, the doctor felt that I probably had more cancer in my face that would not be so easily removed without being disfiguring. He suggested that I try Erivedge to keep the cancer in check and reduce any tumors that had formed. I have been on it for two years now and have not needed any additional surgeries. The bad news is that I lost all my hair which is a common side effect of the drug, but I’d rather wear my wig and be cancer free than be disfigured or worse.
