Reviews For Tolbutamide
Discovering diabetes type 2
It is hard to determine when you are diabetic if you never have been diagnosed. I remember how it started. The frequent urination was an early sign but I thought it was normal. I had to get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. At times my eyes were playing games with me. I was seen flashes of lights and what is called eye floaters in my field of vision. In the morning, my fingertips felt tingling. I was getting easily annoyed at work because I didnt get good rest. My wife told me to stop complaining and to visit the doctor. The flashes of light were not normal. After divulging all the information to my physician, it all sounded to clear to him that he needed to run some blood tests. Just as he suspected, those were signs of diabetes. The blood test showed my blood sugar was too high. I had diabetes type two which seems to be the most common. I take Tolbutamide in the morning along with a change of diet. It has lowered my blood sugar since then. I will continue treatment; since treatment some of the symptoms like the flashes and tingling have subsided.

Genetics play a role in diabetes
My aunt has diabetes and I always thought of it as something foreign that only happens to people who eat too much candy or soda. Well, I was wrong. Genetics plays a large part on how the pancreas and insulin is generated in the body. My vision was getting blurry at times. I needed help to get my blood sugar down. Tolbutamide helps the body release insulin to restore balance to the system. I take it a few times a day by breaking up the dosage. Exercise is also part of the program. I am walking in the morning and keep sugar and certain carbohydrates out diet. My blood sugar is better now but it has taken a lot of effort of my part to regulate it to more normal levels.
