Drug for my OCD
Prozac is a drug that has been around for quite a while and helped people in many ways. My problem is that I have always been reluctant with the use of drugs that in any way tempered with mind. My friends consider me orthodox in this regard especially now that marijuana is also legal in many states. But I was like that. It all started with my breakup after a 7 yr long relationship. We were even engaged and planning to get married. But a series of events happened that ended the relationship and pretty much me too. I was not only depressed bit also kept thinking and going back to the past memories. It was as if I couldnt stop my mind from wandering. I took counseling and behavioral therapies and it was then I started with Prozac.

It made me productive again
I was told by my psychiatrist that OCD also happens with thoughts too and it needs treatment for which behavioral therapy may not be enough. Prozac helps break that chain of thoughts. It helped me clear my mind, put me on tract and make me productive again. I can now work, study and contribute to the world much like every other normal person.
