Seizures use to cause me anxiety
Years ago I had my first seizure. After loosing consciousness I had terrible headaches because sometimes I injured my head on the ground. I wasnt sure if having a normal life was an option. I was worried about what the future held for me. What kind of job could I have? What if I lose control during a job interview? It used to make me anxious thinking about the future. I believe it caused me depression. I started taking Peganone a few years ago and I havent had any incidents. I became more self confident, went to college and work in an office. Seizures may come with warning signs
Knowing when a seizure is coming can help prepare you mentally before it happens. I feel panic just before I have a seizure, I try to compose myself. It gives me a false sense of control but it helps me nonetheless. My stomach kind of hurts and my vision get blurry. I dont believe everyone who gets seizures get the same warning signs as I do since there can be several different causes for it. I have been taking Peganone now for some time and I havent had any major episodes. This medication is working for me so far.
