Helpful for Crohn’s Disease
Entocort is extremely helpful for managing Crohn’s. I alternate dosages by taking 6 mg and 9 mg pills on alternating days. This seems to be the ideal routine for me. The symptoms that I have with Crohn’s are greatly reduced. The medication has allowed me to delay a surgical procedure to remove a stricture. I find this medication to be less harsh on my system and causes fewer side effects than other medications that I have tried. I would recommend this medication to anyone living with Crohn’s disease who is not getting relief from their current treatment.

A Must for Me
This medication has done a wonderful job of getting rid of the symptoms of microscopic colitis. The doctor tried weaning me off the medication to see how I would do, but the symptoms came back with a vengeance. I’ll stay on Entocort. I have found that the generic doesn’t work for me. I found that out when the pharmacy gave me the generic and my symptoms returned. I went to my gastroenterologist, and he said others have had the same experience with the generic. If you have an issue that the medication stopped working, you may want to check to see if you have the brand name or generic version.
