A terrible toothache
After a dental surgery I was told at the surgeons office to take a Tylenol as the anesthetic ran out. They told me I might feel some discomfort. Their estimation of my suffering was greatly understated. As the numbness of the anesthetic wore out a certain tingling began to take over. Later the tingling sensation became a loud pain that I could not endure with a simple aspirin. I put ice, took Tylenol but noting worked. It seemed the area got infected after surgery. My face blew up like a balloon. I wailed in pain all the way back to the office. I was given something to fight the infection. They also gave me codeine for the pain. It worked within the hour. I took it every four hours until the end of the infection. I dont think I couldve made it without codeine for the three weeks of pain I went through.
