It is an antibiotic and I had some numbness but I am more than willing to put up with being numb if it means I dont have to feel the effects of Bronchitis anymore. My doctor wrote out a prescription for Avelox following my diagnosis of sinus infection and discovering I was allergic to another type of treatment. Some loss of appetite and feeling nauseous at first which passed after taking the medication for a few more days. No problems after that and Avelox is very easy to get and to take according to doctor and pharmacy instructions. It really helps if you take this medication with a big glass of water to avoid having stomach discomfort.. When I did it I didnt feel any nausea at all so I hope that helps everyone.
