Works for high blood platelet levels
My mom has been taking this drug for around 2 years and her platelet counts have reduced to normal. Right after she was being clinically diagnosed with incredibly high counts and Thrombocytosis, this drug has been the solution. She took 2mg per day for the past 2 years. The only negative effect she has is rapid heartbeat. Her platelet counts have stayed at a normal level. She still has regular blood tests and sees Oncologist every 3 months but at this stage I will let her stay on this medication.

Brings my platelet to normal
I have been on anagrelide for 3 years. Although When I first began this medicine I had small racing heart and nervous feelings. I am now using 4 doses daily and I still at times feel a racing heartbeat but absolutely nothing like when I first started the drug. I am satisfied with the results as my platelets apparently stay between 400,000 and 550,000. My platelets used to range between 900,000 to 1,100,000. But now I am satisfied with the results and I have more self-confident in my doctor for suggesting this medication
