Helps My Husband’s Alzheimer’s
My husband has severe Alzheimer’s. Namenda seems to help make him more present in the moment. Also, it helps with his memory. Before taking Namenda, he slept a lot and sat without saying anything. When the doctor increased the dosage, my husband seemed more irritable and angry. So, the dose was lowered again. It seems to help him. His memory is much clearer and is able to carry on a conversation though he still has some trouble finding the right words. When the doctor added another medication, my husband became confuses and irritable. It seems like he can’t tolerate many medications, but the Namenda has helped.

Very Good for Early Alzheimer’s
My 80-year-old mother is in the early stages of Alzheimer’s. Since starting the Namenda, it’s almost like she doesn’t even have the disease any more. She seems like her old self again. I think this medication works great for people in the early stages of the disease. My mother is in assisted living now, so she is taking the medication daily as prescribed. Before being in assisted living, there was some problem with getting her to take it every day. She has not complained of any side effects of the medication. I’m very happy with her results from this medication.
