Works for Urinary Tract Infection
I take this medication for bladder tract attacks during pregnant state. I am on it once again for the 3rd time. Take two times a day for 7 days. A little side-effect comes right after the 1st pill. I get influenza symptoms like: chills, sore joints, tiredness and extreme weakness. However no fever, I would personally say this drug worked well with minor effect. The medicine works well right after the first dose. My only suggestions will be to drink plenty of water with lime juice (that assisted me to regulate the upset situation) and also eat lots of fresh yogurt to maintain under control bowel

Works Great!
I was provided nitrofurantoin for cystitis several years ago and while it cleared the infections it also made me slight sick and weak. This time, however, I was given in form of capsules and I didn’t have side effects at all. Due to my past experience on the drug, I was seriously afraid to use it, but I started with half the dose just to find out how I would feel. When I did not feel sick right after the first several half-doses I increased it to the complete dose and I was fine, no feeling sick or any other negative effects. I took it with foods, but not often with a complete meal, in some cases only with a snack food, but it still did not cause me to feel sick or tired.
