Reviews For Prandin
Best Way to Keep Your Sugar Levels Low
I cannot believe I had to struggle for 3 years before getting to this. After a previous drug had me getting insulin much more regular to my liking, the doctor had me on this and in a month my blood sugar was back to 90s. I have been on it for a year now and I am yet to notice any side effect. I was initially on a dose of three 0.5 mg in a day, one after every meal but it would have me fatigued by the end of the day so the doctor reduced it to two and I have no such complaints again and the sugar blood level is steady. I like it.

I had tried the generic form of Prandin and it was not particularly effective and would have my stomach bloating till it almost hurt. However, my insurance agreed to support me on getting the REAL one and it has been a surprise for me. I have no problem and I have found it to work better when I take it about 30 minutes before a meal. If you miss a meal, it is better to wait till the next one to avoid any stomach or fatigue issues. It is really effective, I am off the insulin for two years now and no problem associated with it.
