Effective on infections but with mild symptoms
I was prescribed the med Cleocin by my dentist for a severe tooth abscess. The whole left side of my face was swollen. After taking the medicine for two days, I can feel the swelling go down and the pain also lessening. But Im having mild headaches which are usually cured after taking a pain killer. Also, the medicine is leaving a bad taste in my mouth but like most people, I dont feel like eating anyway after the tooth abscess. I even lost a few kilos this time, which is a good thing as I was intending of going on a diet to lose some weight.
I suggest those who are on the medication to take warm drinks such as coffee, tea, and warm milk alongside Cleocin. Trust me, it helps. The doc also suggested taking a probiotic with the medication, but thankfully I never had the need to. I am feeling a lot better now.
