No More Fatigue
I was taking a different medication for Factor II genetic blood clotting, but I experienced so much fatigue that it was difficult to function. My doctor gave me Lovenox instead. This medication has not caused any fatigue or any other problems for me. I tap the air bubbles out first to help prevent bruising and hard lumps from the injections. I don’t think anyone likes injections. I wish I could be on a pill, but I am happy that it is working well for me without any fatigue or any other side effects. Overall, I’m very pleased with this medication.

Prevents Blood Clots
I had a blood clot in my leg after having my first child. The doctor told me that I have Factor V, and I’m prone to blood clots. During my pregnancy, I have to take Lovenox injections twice a day to prevent blood clots. I don’t mind the actual injections. The needles are so small and thin that you can barely feel it. Sometimes, the medication stings a little bit. I would rather take the injections than risk a potentially deadly blood clot. My children need me. The doctor said I may need to continue taking a blood thinner after my pregnancy, but then I can switch to pills. Even though I don’t like injections, I’m thankful for this medication.
