Very Effective
I used Actonel for years for osteoporosis. I have had an excellent experience with this drug. My bone density increased. I had less pain in my muscles and joints. I had to switch to a different medication due to insurance changes. I am not happy with the medication that I take now. I have put on weight and feel achy all the time. I used to be more active, but it hurts too much to move with this other medication. I am hoping my doctor can find a way to put me back on Actonel. I want to stick with what works for me.

Works Well For Me
After I had a bad reaction to other medication for osteoporosis, my doctor put me on Actonel. So far, it has been fine. I only have some mild heartburn. I use some over-the-counter heartburn medication for that. I have not had any other side effects. My bone density scan after starting Actonel showed some improvement. None of the other calcium supplements that I have tried have ever helped. Another benefit is that my nails are not as brittle as they used to be. I hope Actonel continues to help me.
