For cell lung cancer
My husband was diagnosed with cell lung cancer in October 2014. He had surgery to remove 1/3 of his lung, chemo and radiation. In July 2015 had a double by-pass surgery, July 2016; it metastases to the brain. Gamma knife shrunk the 2 tumors In September 2016 started another round of chemo, but 2 months later he had a TIA, they took him off the chemo. In September 2016 started Opdivo. Doing wellnow; no new tumors in the lungs or brain. Side effects are little tiredness and he sleeps all the time. His quality of life is good now! Thanks to Opdivo

My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer in July 2016. She had two tumors in her right lung and tumors in her liver. She was in severe pain. Since her brain was affected, it was decided she should have 10 days of brain radiation. The radiation did nothing for the pain. In mid-August, 2016 she started taking Opdivo. Within a few days, the pain subsided. After about a week, it was gone. By November the tumors had shrunk in all affected areas by No big side effects. We are very thankful!
