Lodosyn Helps With my Parkinsons Disease Symptoms
Living with Parkinsons disease is extremely hard. In recent years it has gotten better because there are medications out there that will make the symptoms so much easier to bare. Parkinsons affects the nerve cells in my bran that produce dopamine and that gives me many, many symptoms. Some of the things I experience include tremor, rigidity and changes in my speech pattern. It can be embarrassing as well as a real struggle. There is no cure, but I was happy when my doctor prescribed Lodosyn.
I have to take it after I take my levodopa as they work together. It also eliminates the side effects that levodopa puts me through like nausea and vomiting. It breaks down the levodopa in to my bloodstream so that more of it enters my brain and decreases my Parkinson symptoms. My doctor lowered my levodopa dose at first to stop my brain from creating too much dopamine. I take one pill at the beginning of the day by mouth with food and a dose of levodopa. My doctor asks me to avoid high-protein foods so, I follow that closely. My symptoms have decreased so much!
