Cesamet Really Helped With my Nausea
Ive suffered from nausea for a long time now while take my chemo and it really takes its toll. The nausea makes you almost completely unable to do anything and the vomiting, forget it. The vomiting makes me feel absolutely terrible. It leaves me weak and unable to do anything for almost an entire day after my chemo. I was really tired of being so sick after every treatment so, I went to my doctor and asked for a treatment. He prescribed me Cesamet and Im so grateful that he did!
I take one pill the night before my chemotherapy begins. I then take the medication again about 2 hours before the chemotherapy begin. If I feel really, really sick I take another dosage about 2 hours after the treatment and I feel a lot better. I do recommend taking it the same time every day so that you get into a habit of taking it as it is not an as needed medication. I didnt feel many side effects and my experience with chemo is more pleasant. I highly recommend this to anyone currently dealing with cancer.
