I am so hoping you can help or lead me in the right direction. My dog, a rescue (5 yrs old), has anal fistulas and has been on 125 mg of Atopica for months now. It is the only thing that has eased her suffering. We saw 5 different Vets and tried to many meds to count. The problem is, the price. I have depleted my funds and have had to borrow from my pension to keep my poor Hoosier out of pain. My vet will not accept any printable coupons and the normal pharmacies will not fill a script for a dog. I have been told that eventually we will be able to reduce the number of doses to approx 3 per week. But for now I just paid another $400.00 for the next month of daily doses. I am at my wits end. Please advise if you have an advise. I thank you and Hoosier thanks you in advance for any assistance you can give.

Hi Tina, have you tried any of the online pet pharmacies? I have found that CVS pharmacy will fill a script for my cat, not sure if you have those where you are. Lastly, have you let your vet know you are struggling financially to keep your dog comfortable? Sometimes they will find a way to help with the price. Good luck. đŸ™‚
